National kicker league - infopackage - English version

Conditions of Participation:

Participation in the 2024 National Team Competition is reserved for players who have their residence in Belgium or who has a residence in another country and have an ITSF license overthere.

In a team, a maximum of 50% of the players may have a place of residence in another country. This means that at least 50% of the players in a team must live in Belgium.

In addition, at least 50% of the players on the match sheet must live in Belgium.

Example: If you have 8 players in your team, 4 of whom live in Belgium and 4 in another country, you may place a maximum of 3 players from another country on your score sheet since that is 50% of 6 players 3.

These conditions will be evaluated every year.

Notes: Any foreign player can participate, as long as he respects the rules for admission to the final of the European Champions League:

  • If a player is qualified to participate in the European Champions League in another country, he CAN’T participate in another national qualifying tournament.
  • Players who have participated in more than one national qualifying tournament for the European Champions League cannot participate in the European Champions League.

Dress code:

We follow the ITSF dress code and this means that sportswear (sports pants/training pants) is mandatory.

ATTENTION!: In addition, it is mandatory that all players of a team wear uniform outerwear.

For the correct information, please refer to https://www.tablesoccer.org/page/dress-code

Competition model:

Each match is played in 7 games: D-D-E-E-D-D-D

(Double 1 – Double 2 – Single 1 – Single 2 – Double 3 – Double 4 – Double 5)

  • This order may not be deviated from.
  • A player may be fielded a maximum of 2 times.
  • A player may not play 2 singles games.
  • D1, D2, E1 and E2 are 6 different players and cannot be the same players.
  • D3, D4 and D5 are also 6 different players but may be different than in the first half.

At the start of a match (the 1st game) there is a toss to see who can start with the kick-off and during the following games the kick-off is then started alternately. In the second set of a game, the team that did not kick off the 1st set starts.

Each game consists of two sets of up to 5. Each set is played up to 5 goals with a two-goal difference up to a maximum of 8 with a 4-4 score.

In a set, each team has 2 timeouts.

A qualifying match can end in a draw.

If the score in a match in the KO phase is equal after the 7 games, a penalty shootout will follow.

Penalty shootout:

A referee must be involved in a penalty shoot-out. This ensures that the rules are correctly followed and keeps track of the score.

The order of the 5 penalty shoot-out players will be determined after the last (7th) game (double 5).

The winner of the "toss" chooses whether his/her team starts with goalkeeping or shooting.

For all information: ITSF rulebook, rule 31.4 = forward shootout!

If the score is equal after 5 turns, 10 balls, sudden death will follow according to the “Golden Goal” principle. The player order then starts again from the beginning.

Qualification:

  • Match: Each set won earns one point.
  • After the match, the sets won are added up. The team with the most sets wins the match.
  • The competition standings will be updated and published by the competition management after the results have been entered.
  • Depending on the number of teams, the qualification is played according to the Swiss system, or according to a completely single-sided competition system (each team plays against each other once).
  • The score is primarily based on match points. If there is an equal number of match points, there will be differentiation between sets and then between mutual results.

Competition form:

  • A match is between two teams, with the first named team being the 'home team'.
  • A competition form is completed independently for each match.
  • This form and therefore the line-up must be exchanged 10 minutes before the start of the match.
  • Both team captains are responsible for completing the form correctly and completely.
  • After the match, the form will be signed by both team captains.
  • The “home” team is responsible for submitting the form to the competition management.

Reserve players:

  • A maximum of 2 substitutions are allowed during a match.
  • Substitutions are only possible before the start of a game and must be announced to the opponent.
  • Substitution is only possible if the player in question has played at least 1 full game in this match and can only be substituted for a player who has not yet played a single game in this match.
  • In the event of force or unforeseen circumstances, the organization reserves the right to deviate from this.

Prices:

The competition is for the title of Belgian Team Competition Champion.

Numbers 1, 2 & 3 receive a medal/trophy.

Qualification for the European Champions League:

The winning team will qualify for the 2024 ITSF Champions League.

Entire women's or senior teams can also participate and if only 1 team is present, they will also receive a ticket to the Champions league in their category (women/seniors). For several teams in this category, a separate KO phase will take place after qualification.

If the highest finishing team does not wish to participate in the Champions League, this right will pass to the next highest finishing team.

The team representing Belgium in the European Champions League receives compensation, the amount of which depends on the number of participating teams with a minimum of € 300.00. However, we cannot compensate in the same order of magnitude for women's or senior teams.

The team that chose last year to use the qualification for the Champions league in 2024 (Due to limited time after the team competition) will be able to participate for the year 2024, but with certain restrictions:

  • She will be able to participate in the 2024 qualifying tournament, but because she has already qualified, her results will not be considered.
  • Their players cannot be part of another team during the 2024 qualifying tournament. If any of the players participate in a qualifying tournament with another team, the entire team will be disqualified.
  • The players will not be able to participate in any other 2024 qualifying tournament in Europe (to respect the rules of the 'European Champions League')
